There is no deadline or checkpoint for a rebrand. A company should consider rebranding when it’s outgrown its current brand or its current identity no longer aligns with their vision and direction.
Brand guidelines work as a rulebook for both internal and external teams to ensure your brand is expressed consistently across all channels.
Ensuring everything is consistent in your brand helps your customers to remember your company or brand as they see you across multiple channels. Patterns appear, and recall is stronger.

We tailor to your needs, but a typical strategic project can include:
Project length varies from client to client, due to stakeholder involvement, amount and breadth of deliverables and time pressures. We adapt to client deadlines to deliver as much as reasonably possible within the set timeframe.
Before we begin any project, we’ll agree on a schedule to ensure it’s feasible on both sides.
All assets and designs created during the project are transferred to the client on completion so you own the IP.
3rd party assets such as images, fonts or music will need to be licensed on a case-by-case basis. We will advise and support you with this during your project.
We avoid this as much as possible by holding a workshop and early stage review sessions to fully align before starting any in-depth design work.
However, if you feel we’ve missed the mark, we will re-evaluate and re-design based on your feedback. 2 rounds of reasonable amendments are included in every project or major deliverable.
Yes, we offer brand strategy without design, including positioning, naming and verbal identity.

Typically a website project takes around 8 weeks. This includes UX, design and build, copywriting and structure. The more complex or bigger the site, the longer it takes.

A professionally branded, well-designed site signals quality, meaning it’s more likely to be included in AI-generated summaries.
AI search factors in user experience: Load speed, interactivity, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility all signal content quality.
They also use engagement signals: For example, if users click through and immediately leave, that's a negative signal, whereas good design keeps people on the page, reinforcing its relevance.
Brand helps you stand out. Positioning and strategy, verbal and visual identity ensure you are focused on and talking directly to your audience. Your brand is ownable and it is yours to use to your advantage to grab market share.
The brand you launched your startup with might have been fit for purpose as you got off the ground, but your startup will evolve, and so should your brand to meet the opportunity of the market.
If you don't launch with a full brand we suggest rebranding as soon as you have product market fit and your first customers. But of course you can do it at any time.
A full and succinct brand positioning and identity helps attract customers and therefore makes your company more attractive. Brand is a point of difference that you own the IP to, so this is also attractive.

Websites typically start at £5k for a small brochureware site and go upwards from there depending on scope, requirements and functionality.
SaaS is a crowded sector. The average company now relies on 100’s of SaaS solutions. This means that it is getting harder and harder to differentiate your startup. Brand is a way to do this – it's yours, you own it, and you won’t get caught up in a comparison on features.
Be different. This is the fastest way to stand out among your competitors.
The Compare the Market meerkat is a proof point for this – no other insurance companies were using mascots and now they are household names known by all.
So be brave, we will find that difference with you.
We believe that the best brands are differentiated, stand for something and are easy to understand. If you can hit these 3 points your brand identity will help your startup grow.
